• Credit eTrading has an exciting opportunity for a motivated senior developer for our front-office IT team.
• This role will participate in the green field development of a price distribution platform with both external and internal stakeholders. Additionally, this role will build and enhance FIX connectivity to ECNS and other front-office systems.
• The candidate should have ample server-side experience.
• Any eTrading experience is a huge plus. Recent FIX Protocol experience is a big plus.
• The candidate should have experience with the entire SDLC cycle.
• Demonstrated use of Design Patterns is a plus.
• Candidates must have the ability to interact with all functional roles on the team, contribute solutions and ideas to the problem space and have very good written and oral communication skills.
• The candidate should also be a self-starter, highly motivated, and a solid team player but capable of working independently.
• Required Skills:
• core Java Experience
• 5+ years core Spring
• Strong background in object-oriented design and development
• Experience working on multi-threaded systems.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from inception to deployment and user training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented
• Must be able to work effectively with clients and team members in other locations.

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing and supporting order execution or real-time market data
• Google Protobuf experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK) • FIX protocol experience
• Apache Camel experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK)
• Messaging experience
• Linux experience (+, if the candidate does not have, it is OK)
• Apache Maven experience
• SVN or like source control.
